Datamatrix marking on steel

Multi4 Bench 120 marking machine associated with a Data matrix reader are installed in the premises of a company manufacturing transmission shafts, steering pivots, and satellite carriers.

This marking equipment carries out Datamatrix code markings on left or right steering pivots for trucks. The Datamatrix code is read again after the marking to check the readability as well as the setting of the marking.

This encoding allows the operator to find the part number, the plan index, the year, the day number, the number of the plant, of the line as well as of the production order.
