Laser marking of Datamatrix code

2D Datamatrix code markings as well as alphanumeric markings are made on aluminium alloys parts using our Graphix 20W laser marking station equipped with a standard smoke extractor.

Data matrix codes have an A or B gradation and are marked with 0.1mm depth on an unfinished surface before treatment. They are then read back with the wireless barcode reader and the Cognex 2D code reader to check the gradation of the Data matrix code.
