Marking on steel ingots

A MULTI4 Portable 120 marking machine enables traceability of steel plates 22 meters long and 10 centimetres thick.

With a Datamatrix reader the operator scans a QR code which contains all the information relating to the position of the sample to be taken from the mother plate. Once the information has been entered into the controller, the operator will mark this sample block. This sample will then be sent to the laboratory for quality control.

This marking equipment is equipped with a protective bellows to protect the machine from dust present in the premises.
