Laser marking with specific software

A Graphix laser marking machine produces markings on aluminium and stainless-steel company plates using specific software allowing the Graphix station to communicate with the customer’s ERP: Oracle.

The information to be marked on the company plates is generated by the database. The laser then communicates via the Ethernet connection with the ERP database to choose a template and fill in the variables.

Once a marking has been selected, the operator can start marking from the file by using the marking button.

The software allows the projection of the limits from the marking file selected by the laser. Pressing the button starts the projection and pressing again stops it. Projection is possible with the machine door open, thus allowing the part to be marked to be correctly positioned.
